Rough Waters
0640 - Nothing really going on tonight except we are transiting some pretty rough waters tonight and hopefully I will sleep ok and not fall out of my rack. I have to be up in 4 hours for stretcher bearer training and then a smash and crash drill which is a scenario where a helicopter crashes on our flight deck. I would be totally stoked about it but I know I will be bitter cause of the lack of sleep and then of course right after the drill come right back to watch.
I got quite the beard happening today. To raise funds for the recreation department we are allowed to pay $5 and not have to shave till we get to Guam. It’s pretty sweet. I hope they do it again between Guam and Thailand.
Well its time for morning quarters then off to get a few hours of oh so refreshing sleep.
